WRJ is the organizational umbrella for hundreds of affiliated sisterhoods, with tens of thousands of members across North America, Israel, and around the globe. The North American affiliates are grouped into six geographic regions called Districts, which serve as liaisons between WRJ and the affiliated sisterhoods.

WRJ hosts a variety of events throughout the year for its affiliated members and women of Reform Judaism in North America, Israel, and around the world. These events are meant to educate, inform, inspire, connect, and elevate women’s leadership and spirituality within their communities and the Reform Movement.
Since 1913, WRJ has led the Reform Movement in social action advocacy. Our Resolutions have preceded policy in many areas, such as women's reproductive rights, civil rights, and economic justice.
