My Cox ancestor, William, came to Daviess Co., MO (actually he settled near the Daviess/Caldwell line) in 1835. I think there are some Coxes around here (Hamilton, MO) who come from the line you mentioned. Have you access to any of the Caldwell County history books done in recent years.
