About The New York State Police Uniformed Troopers The work of a New York State Trooper encompasses everything from traditional patrol duties to responding to 911 calls.

Their roles extend beyond maintaining order—they are mentors, neighbors, and friends who understand the unique rhythms and needs of the towns and cities they serve. By building trust and fostering relationships, Virginia State Troopers help create safer, stronger, and more connected communities.

The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps is a World Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps. Based in Casper, Wyoming, the Troopers was one of the thirteen founding member corps of Drum Corps International (DCI).

Join us Wednesday, March 25 from 5-6 PM MST for the Commissioner License Auction, benefiting the Troopers' 11-week summer tour – an incredible program that builds skills, confidence, and lifelong memories for Wyoming youth.

Founded in 1957 by Jim Jones in Casper, Wyoming, the Troopers are one of the most historically significant groups in the marching arts. Known as "America s Corps," the Troopers pioneered the modern drum corps touring model and were a founding member of Drum Corps International in 1972.

Watch the 2025 Troopers Battery warm up at Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Today is all about WyoGives and supporting the corps.
